Bound To You (就是你) – Christina Aguilera (克里斯蒂娜·阿奎莱拉)
Sweet love’ sweet love
Trapped in your love
I’ve opened up’ unsure I can trust
My heart and I were buried in dust
Free me’ free us
You’re all I need when I’m holding you tight
If you walk away’ I will suffer tonight
I found a man I can trust
And boy’ I believe in us
I am terrified to love for the first time
Can you see that I’m bound in chains
I finally found my way
I am bound to you
I am bound to you
So much’ so young
I’ve faced on my own
Walls I built up became my home
I’m strong and I’m sure there’s a fire in us
Sweet love’ so pure
I catch my breath with just one beating heart
And I brace myself’ please don’t tear this apart
I found a man I can trust
And boy’ I believe in us
I am terrified to love for the first time
Can’t you see that I’m bound in chains
I finally found my way
I am bound to you
I am bound to
Suddenly the moment’s here
I embrace my fears
All that I have been carrying all these years
Do I risk it all
Come this far just to fall’ fall
Oh’ I can trust
And boy’ I believe in us
I am terrified to love for the first time
Can you see that I’m bound in chains
And finally found my way
I am bound to you
I am’
我已经
Ooh’ I am
我已经
I’m bound to you
The soundtrack for 2010’s Burlesque births collaboration between pop divas Cher and Christina Aguilera, the movie’s two main stars. Blending equal parts Moulin Rouge-style pizzazz and neo-soul à la Amy Winehouse, a larger-than-life cover of Etta James’ “Something’s Got a Hold On Me” sets the tone with Aguilera’s voice breaking in all the right spots under a pounding parlor piano and hard shuffling rhythms. Cher follows with “Welcome to Burlesque,” an enjoyable number with its gypsy fiddles and sultry cabaret tones. After taking on another James song with “Tough Lover” (dig the sassy horns on this one), Aguilera delivers a classic Broadway-inspired performance with “But I Am a Good Girl” before doing justice to Ralph Rainger’s Tin Pan Alley tune “Guy What Takes His Time,” sounding like a studio-enhanced upgrade on Mae West’s version from the 1933 film She Done Him Wrong. Cher puts the power back in the power ballad “You Haven’t Seen The Last of Me” prior to a partial cover of Marilyn Manson’s “The Beautiful People” that curiously bookends.
